Omodos
On the southwest slopes of the Troodos Mountains lies the picturesque village of Omodos, surrounded by Vineyard.
The clear clean air and the barmy winter temperatures allied to the Historic charm of the village encourages all year round visiting.
The southern coast is around 30 – 40 minutes drive away with excellent infrastructure to Limassol, Larnaca, Pafos and Nicocia.
It’s an Ancient village built around The Timios Stavros Monastery also known as The Monastery of the Holy Cross, The ancient church Bell which dates back to 1812 was the first Christian Bell to ring in Cyprus.
Omodos, Omodhos or Omodous, which ever way you spell it is one of the most visited Villages in the Troodos mountains with some of the Best Restaurants and Taverns in Cyprus.
